Evil Eye

The concept of the evil eye, also known as “the black curse,” has been around since the Old Stone Age. The black curse has been mentioned in both the Torah and in the Quran. Greco-Roman authors, such as Plato and Plutarch, have also discussed this concept in their works. Scholars hold that the evil eye concept is Middle Eastern in origin and gradually spread to India, the Mediterranean, and eventually to Europe. European explorers and colonizers then brought this belief into the Americas and other parts of the world. This belief remains particularly strong in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cultures, as well as in India and Latin American countries. Although various cultures have their own differing views, the usual physical manifestation of the evil eye comes from people who wish to cause harm. The central theme in the belief of the evil eye is that a spell can be cast by a person—who may be adept with witchcraft or just an ordinary person—who looks at another with envy or evil praise.

The task of finding whether a given practice or practitioner are evil in nature can be extremely difficult. More often than not, we’re unaware of such evil practice and as a result cannot have adequate protection. Witchcraft and related Evil Eye are universally known as aggressive and dangerous activities designed to cause harm. These activities which appear in the form of black magic, curse, voodoo attacks and other sophisticated methods have been practiced by humans for many centuries.

The use of black arts can cause all kinds of misfortune to its victim, including disease, lost of loved ones, lost of wealth, employment, status and even reputation. One specific feared form of black arts is the Evil Eye, a dominant force caused by negative feelings, jealousy, resentment and fear of one’s success and status. This method was very common in the ancient world and still to this day is widely accepted by many cultures. It is based on the perception that a look can harm a person or property.

Evil Eye has many forms and often caused by people we would consider close friends and/or relatives.  A key aspect of such force is cursing others to prevent them from accomplishing their goals and aspirations in life. Another aspect of this force consisted of love spells and charms to compel someone to fall in love with another person. This method which is used by both men and women had caused the breakup of numerous happy and successful relationships. Since beauty, prosperity and happiness incite jealousy and therefore attract bad luck, getting the right protection is absolutely imperative.
